Dr. Watters completed his undergraduate studies at Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine and Exercise Science, also graduating from the Honors College at Ball State University with a focus in Humanities. He completed his Masters in Sports Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University, and is published in their archives for his work in the study “Using diagnostic ultrasound to determine normal physiologic migratory parameters of the sciatic nerve at the external rotators of the femur in healthy subjects  during hip flexion and knee extension.”  He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic.

Dr. Watters is a certified provider of Active Release Techniques for the upper extremity, lower extremity, spine, long tract nerve entrapment, biomechanics, and complex protocols. He has been the ART Team Lead at IRONMAN Muncie 70.3 since 2012. He also is a Licensed Acupuncturist and can practice medical acupuncture and dry needling.

Dr. Watters is a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, NSCA-CSCS and has trained many athletes to increase performance in strength, speed, and  agility. While at Ball State University he won the 2008 Mr. Ball State  Bodybuilding Competition.  In 2015 he won Mr. Indianapolis Middleweight  Novice in Bodybuilding. In July 2019, Dr. Watters earned his IFBB Pro Card after winning Mr. USA Bodybuilding Championship in Lightweight Division. He has guest posed as an IFBB pro.
